Where the ice begins
Together with my family I set out to hike up an iconic mountain in Austria. The Großvenediger. With its peak at 3666 m it is one of the highest mountains in Austria. Our route followed the path of the first ascenders who summited in 1841. The path starts with a normal hiking track and leads over the glacier until you reach the mountains ice crown. It was an adventure to remember.
